Speaking yesterday, the cleric, who asked not to be mentioned because of the sensitivity of the matter, faulted the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, for displaying n@k£d bodies of the terrorists and termed the move as a stupid public relations gimmick which may cost Kenya more lives.
He warned that the move could infuriate Al Shabaab to initiate more attacks on Kenyan soil and might trigger more radicalization among Muslims youths since Islam respects the dead and disposes off dead bodies as quickly as possible.
“Parading dead n@k£d bodies for selfies is just pure madness and this may lead to more deaths and radicalization of Muslim youth,” said the cleric.
